A second year construction, design and textiles project at the University of Huddersfield.
The Bacchae, originally a Greek play, tells the story of Greek God Dionysus, and his followers. I studied a contemporary version of the text and my brief required me to incorporate a contemporary style with a Tudor silhouette, incorporating a corset and farthingale.
I chose to merge futuristic with Tudor.
