A design and textiles project which was part of first year at the University of Huddersfield.
L'Enfant et les Sortilèges tells the story of a young boy who rebels against his mother and causes destruction throughout the room in which the first act of the opera is set, and then in the garden where the child ventures in the second act.
I chose 3D manipulation as my theme allowing me to experiment with embroidery to create textures for each of the characters. They all wear a black undergarment as well so that the colours and textiles of the character are the key focal point.
